Nilfisk-Advance A/S acquires the activities in the Finnish company Karkone OY

An agreement has been entered into for the Nilfisk-Advance A/S take-over of all activities in the Finnish distribution company Karkone effective as per 1 July 2005.

Karkone is one of Finland’s leading distributors of cleaning machines. Karkone is a well-established supplier of machines as well as after sales service for contract cleaners, institutions and the industry. Karkone has 12 employees and a turnover of approx. 2.5 mEUR.

The acquisition of Karkone will strengthen Nilfisk-Advance’s position as the leading supplier of cleaning machines in the Finnish market, and means that we in the future through our own company can provide our customers with a complete range of machines and service including application knowledge.
